This new version is a screen pig, a memory pig, and constantly crashes.

This version wastes space on the screen when I try to use the digital image view, making the full page view too small to easily scan read, and displaying too little content when zoomed in to read it better. Clicking on stories or returning to the full page edition causes it to crash half as often as not.

Also I have turned off all notification alerts for the Gazette because I keep getting annoying alerts for such riveting topics as "dog bites man" from calcutta. But I keep getting these pointless alerts.
